Garlic Butter Steak Bites Recipe – Garlic butter Steak Bites With LemonZucchini Noodles

The sirloin steak bites are marinated and cooked to perfection in a delicious garlic butter sauce and served with healthy and low-carbohydrate zucchini paste. Ready in 30 minutes or less, these garlic butter bites with zucchine noodles will make your whole family go crazy!

List of ingredients for garlic butter Bocconcini with zucchini Noodles

  • 1 1/4 lbs (450 g) rib eye cut into cubes

  • 4 medium zucchini, spiral (or a pack of zucchini tagliatelle purchased in the shop)

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons of butter, divided

  • 2 teaspoons of minced garlic

  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) of broth meat or vegetable

  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

  • 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, optional

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Marinade:

  • 1/4 cup of low sodium soy sauce (or amino coconut for paleo and gluten free)

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce (we used Sriracha)

  • Fresh broken black pepper, to taste

  • 1/2 lemon juice

1. To prepare the recipe for the garlic butter steak: In a bowl mix the ingredients for the steak marinade (soy sauce, olive oil, hot sauce, pepper and lemon juice) and add steak bites. Mix well and marinate for at least 15-20 minutes while preparing the other ingredients.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Drain the steak bites from the marinade. Keep the remaining marinade for later

3. Put the steak bites in the pan in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan or the meat will be steamed, so it may be necessary to work in groups depending on the size of the pan. Cook the steaks for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the steak bites are golden brown. Repeat with the remaining steak bites if necessary.

4. Once all the steak stings are golden, add 2 tablespoons of butter and garlic to the pan; cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring to cover the meat with the sauce. Remove the stings of steak in a shallow dish and set aside.

5. In the same pan, add butter, lemon juice, chilli flakes, meat broth and remaining marinade juices. Bring to the boil and leave to reduce for 2-3 minutes, stirring regularly.

6. Add the zucchini tagliatelle piralizzate and mix for two or three minutes to cook them. Mix the fresh parsley and the thyme, then let the cooking juices reduce for a minute if the zucchini noodles make too much water. Push the zucchini noodles on the side, add the morsels to the pan and heat them for another minute. Serve your garlic butter bites right away. To enjoy!


  • You can also use fillet, rib, side or steak if you want.

  • Zucchini tagliatelle tend to make a lot of water during cooking, so you can sprinkle salt after the spiral and let it sit for a couple of minutes to remove excess water.

  • Instead of broth, you can enrich the dish with dry white wine.
